The 15th Anniversary Celebration begins Nov 16 with a by Invitation only Gala and you're invited!

A lot of different options to participate all weekend

We are about the creative work! Below are some ideas for you to review for your participation. Or maybe they inspire a different contribution. Just tell us what 'you' want to do. You can do as much or as little as you want. At a minimum we try to plan for at least one thing each day . However if there is something you feel particularly passionate about to do at CTN please we'd love that! We prefer you doing things you love with us. Maybe you have a subject already in mind and that is fine. Think of this as 'our show' and let's design this together.  Some ideas are below.

Showroom Exhibit Space

Artist Exhibitor: Want Booth space? The Showroom is open Fri and Sat 11 - 6 and Sun 11 - 5. It can act as your 'home base' and is a combination of a shroom exhibit hall and meeting space to connect and talk with attendees.

Screening and The Making Of Talk or Panel Celebration

Share your project and experience so we can celebrate the journey.

Solo Lecture Presentation or Be Interviewed About a Project or your Career

Solo Lecture Presentation: A 20 min something on a topic of your choice. Can be to show a film, talk about it or other topics. Or maybe you prefer to be interviewed about your project or career. (Time can vary)

Workshop or Masterclass Workshop

Workshop or Master Class Workshop: An intimate opportunity for you to share in a longer format some information in a Lesson classroom style workshop or Master Class.   45-90 min.

Live Demonstration

Live Demonstration opportunities where attendees see you working via a projection onto one or two large format plasma screens for up to 45 min. Can be a traditional demonstration with a camera over your shoulder or a digital demo using a digital tablet. We provide the equipment and the crew.

Panelist

Panelist: Be a part of a panel with your peers that is moderated and presented with a topic that you are passionate about for up to 90 min . Casual conversation q+a format.

Spotlight Signing

Spotlight Signing Artist: Sign books and or prints.  CTN either buys the inventory from you (if they can afford it) or you can bring inventory to sell as well if you have a sellers permit.

Career Camp, Conversation with Creators, Ask me Anything ...

Named many things: Career Camp, Conversation with Creators or also known as “Ask me anything”: By appointment to avoid lines. One on one or group chats to review portfolios or chat  on topics of your choice. Very low maintenance informal and casual conversations with attendees. This is very popular and a great time to help someone else with their questions and to talk about anything.  20 min each.

Breakfast with the Pros

Breakfast with the Pros: This exclusive opportunity gives attendees  a once in a lifetime experience to talk one-on-one with some of the most successful and inspirational people in the animation and surrounding communities "YOU". Enjoy a breakfast buffet  in a relaxed intimate setting either Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning 9am-10am.

The Demographic

The Demographics: This show is a professional show that includes opportunities for talented artists in our community from 18-80. This is not a fan or consumer event.

The Venue and In General

Our venue has multiple rooms with seating from 1 on 1 to 20, 200 or 400 with something going on all day in each from 11 - 7  (times may change) . We include breakfast each morning and networking parties at night. We are indoor and outdoor and hope to have our outdoor theater again this year for some storytelling fun under the stars with nighttime screenings. One on one table talk time is based on your schedule and is where you can meet with attendees who have made an appointment (no lines) to chat with you about whatever for 20 min each. Live demonstration stages for digital, traditional and sculpting. And  intimate Showroom Exhibit Halls with Artist Exhibit spaces. If you want booth space we can do that as well so you can have a ‘home base’ to work out of over the weekend.

If you have not been to CTN, everything is very well managed by a professional camera crew and staff crew.

TOGETHER We Make the Difference!!

We believe the talent deserves better from us. So, we have designed an entirely NEW experience - one that is rich in value and based on a fresh perspective of growth and opportunities. We've already helped tens of thousands of artists build the kind of life, skillset and network they need to succeed in the real world. With your help, we hope to continue that trend.  Click on image.

Going beyond traditional methods. A CTN Community together with you helps our industry in more meaningful and memorable ways than any other conventional method by aligning your support directly with the interests and needs of these artists at all levels. CTN events ensure the type of equality and quality within our community that you can be proud of. This industry trusts CTN,  Click on image

Storytelling artists and filmmakers contribute to the future of humanity and the world we live in. We love, laugh, cry, and dream together through art, movies, books, and online media everyday of our entire life. The future of the fabric of our lives and the health of the planet depend on the stories that are told today. Help us in our mission to sustain this community. Click on image.

We appreciate you.

In 2009, many of you supported the then 'brand new' CTN - just a spark of an idea for an animation community event focused on the talent of past, present, and future. Now 15+ years later, many of you have stayed to help touch the lives of tens of thousands. We are more excited than ever to work with you in completing this vision and sharing the magic!! Thank you! Until everyone wins, no one wins. Artists learn from other artists. The CTN Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization is dedicated to celebrating and supporting visual storytellers of all ages, genders, budgets, ethnicities, and geographic locations. Doing foundation work is so rewarding and simply brings an unimaginable amount of joy by giving back in this way. Click on image
