For filmmakers, animation artists, independent creators, students, and studios interested in sharing their work as part of the curated CTNX Film Showcase celebrating the craft of visual storytelling. Open to Short Films, Feature Films and Series with optional presentation opportunity.

Short Film Screening

Runtime: 5 – 30 minutes

A curated presentation of award-winning and professional short-form cinema celebrating exceptional storytelling, artistic vision, and cinematic craft. These films represent the highest level of achievement across animation, live action, experimental, and hybrid filmmaking — created by established voices and emerging masters shaping the future of visual storytelling.

Feature Film Screening

Runtime: 60 minutes and above

A spotlight presentation of professional feature-length films showcasing visionary storytelling, cinematic artistry, and outstanding creative achievement. This category honors filmmakers whose work demonstrates excellence in direction, performance, animation, design, innovation, and emotional impact across long-form cinema.

Series Showcase

5 – 30 min episodic content

Serialized storytelling for emerging and established creators. Series Showcase Description

The Series Showcase celebrates the art of world-building, character evolution, and long-form storytelling through episodic formats designed to engage audiences across multiple chapters and experiences.

This category highlights both established productions and innovative independent voices shaping the future of serialized entertainment.

Series Showcase Subcategories

Pilot Presentation

  • A debut episode or proof-of-concept for a series or crowd funded project that hasn't launched yet.

Independent Web Series

  • Completed or ongoing episodic series created and distributed independently by the filmmaker — not affiliated with a studio or network.

Studio Series Preview

  • Exclusive sneak peeks from professional studio productions. 
  • 1–3 episodes maximum per project.

CTNX is a curated  by invitation community-driven event celebrating the talent, craft, and future of visual storytelling. We welcome artists, creators, educators, studios, vendors, and presenters who align with the mission and spirit of the community and helps advance  the CTNX experience.

Workshop

Workshop and Masterclass opportunities are designed for industry professionals, creators, and educators who want to share their knowledge, creative process, and hands-on experience with the CTN community. These sessions offer an intimate and engaging environment for artists and attendees to learn directly from working professionals through demonstrations, guided instruction, collaborative exercises, discussions, and creative exploration. Sessions can focus on craft, storytelling, production, career development, emerging technologies, or any experience that inspires growth, connection, and discovery.

Masterclass

  • Dive deeper with an industry master in an immersive, hands-on learning experience designed for serious artists and creative professionals. These extended sessions take place on Thursday, November 19, and run 2–4 hours, allowing time for in-depth instruction, demonstrations, and interactive Q&A.

Hands On Workshop

  • Roll up your sleeves and create alongside industry professionals in an interactive, project-based learning experience. These workshops emphasize practical skills, personalized guidance, and real-time feedback as you apply new techniques in a collaborative setting.

Lecture Presentations and Talks

Lecture, Presentation and Talk Opportunities are designed for industry professionals, filmmakers, artists, storytellers, and creative leaders to provide an engaging and interactive platform for presenting creative journeys, industry knowledge, behind-the-scenes processes, career lessons, emerging trends, or inspirational conversations that encourage learning, connection, and creative discovery. Each session is encouraged to include audience interaction and a Q&A experience that allows for meaningful discussion and deeper engagement with attendees.

Lecture

  • Gain valuable insights from industry leaders as they share their creative journey, techniques, and professional experiences. These engaging presentations offer inspiration, practical knowledge, and opportunities for audience Q&A.

Project Presentation

  • Discover how creative projects become reality as filmmakers, artists, and storytellers share their journey from idea to launch. Explore development, production, crowdfunding, funding strategies, marketing, distribution, and the lessons learned along the way and join their journey.

An Intimate Talk

  • Join a small-group conversation with a featured artist for an honest, informal discussion about creativity, career, and personal experiences. This unique format encourages meaningful dialogue, thoughtful questions, and genuine connection.

Live Demonstration

Live Demonstration Opportunities are designed for industry professionals, artists, and creators who want to actively show their process in real time while engaging the CTN community. These sessions focus on hands-on, step-by-step creative exploration—whether in drawing, animation, story development, design, production workflows, or emerging tools—allowing attendees to see how ideas are built from concept to execution. Each demonstration is interactive and encourages audience participation, questions, and dialogue throughout, offering a deeper understanding of technique, decision-making, and the creative process as it unfolds.

Book Signings

Book Signing Opportunities are designed for authors, artists, filmmakers, and creative professionals who have published work and want to connect directly with the CTN community. These sessions offer a welcoming space to showcase books, sketchbooks, graphic novels, art collections, and other published works while engaging with attendees through conversation, storytelling, and personal interaction. Each signing is an opportunity to share insights behind the work, connect with readers, and celebrate the creative journey in an intimate and meaningful setting.

Highly condensed storytelling where every frame counts.
Micro-Movies are designed for immediacy, experimentation, emotional impact, visual poetry, comedy bursts, or concise narrative ideas.

PRESS PASS

MEDIA OUTLETS-JOURNALISTS-BLOGGERS-PHOTOGRAPHERS

The CTNX Press Pass provides single-day access (choice of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) to CTNX programming designed for accredited media professionals, journalists, bloggers, photographers, and content creators covering animation, storytelling, and the creative arts. This pass provides access to CTNX programming, events, and designated areas to support press coverage, interviews, photography, and reporting on the festival experience.


Press attendees are expected to represent their outlet professionally while helping share the stories, voices, and creative work showcased at CTNX. Access may include select panels, workshops, screenings, and press-specific opportunities such as interviews and media availability with participating artists and guests. 

All press credentials are subject to approval to ensure alignment with CTNX’s mission and community focus.
