Continuing the wonderful collaboration with Cartoon Saloon, an Irish animation studio based in Kilkenny and five time Oscar nominee for its work, we are pleased to showcase the book, ‘The Art of Your Fathers Dragon’. A behind the scenes art book that beautifully represents the director, Nora Twomey's film of the same name.
In this film, Elmer Elevator, a boy who runs away from home to rescue Boris, a captive baby dragon trapped on a wild island, is based on the beloved 1948 children's novel by Ruth Stilies Gannett.
With the help of Abrams Publishing, Cartoon Saloon, Netflix Animation, and The Creative Talent Network, My Father's Dragon Day creates an unforgettable experience. Families and mid-journey creatives are invited to the intimate CTN Studio in the animation capital of the world for a day of activities, book-signing, industry talks and networking.
